This product has proprietary properties such as high tensile strength, high elongation, and high viscosity. It is mainly used for the base layer and middle surface layer of high-grade highways and bridge decks, and the thickness of the material itself is more than 2 mm. Laying anti-cracking stickers can generate a sliding layer and a stress dispersion layer at the paving place, which can effectively improve the crack resistance and waterproof performance of the pavement.

 

The anti-crack sticker also has a “self-healing” ability and strong anti-deformation ability, and will not break or tear when the cracks in the base layer move up and down; the anti-crack sticker also has strong adhesion and elasticity, and the asphalt The compound material will form a certain degree of inlay with the anti-crack sticker, and it will not easily slide on the surface of the anti-crack sticker. The anti-cracking sticker also has good high-temperature resistance and low-temperature resistance. The surface fabric can withstand heat up to 220°C and can resist the temperature of paving hot materials, and the low-temperature performance can reach -20°C.

 

Laying of anti-crack stickers:

  1. Do not remove the isolation film (paper) before laying.
  2. When laying anti-crack stickers, the rolled material should be pulled as tight as possible, and the cracks on the road surface should be located in the middle of the anti-crack stickers as much as possible. After laying, the anti-crack sticker should be flat, wrinkle-free, and not warped.
  3. If overlapping occurs during the laying process, the overlapping length should exceed 50mm. There cannot be more than two layers of overlap.
  4. It is recommended to use a roller to roll at least once after laying the anti-crack sticker.
  5. After the paving is completed, vehicles can pass. It is recommended that the interval between the laying of the upper layer should not exceed 24 hours. In case of special circumstances, it is necessary to spread a sticky layer of oil on the surface that is resistant to cracking.

 

Precautions:

  1. Before laying anti-crack stickers, the area to be laid should be cleaned. It should be free of sundries, water, dust, and oil.
  2. Deal with the cracks (joints) at the laying place. Cracks (joints) less than 5mm can be directly paved with anti-cracking stickers, cracks (joints) larger than 5mm should be filled and leveled with joint glue or asphalt, and the protrusions above the paving surface should be cleaned and leveled.
  3. When the paver is paved with anti-crack stickers, attention should be paid to the ground clearance to prevent the pull belt from lifting the anti-crack stickers and affecting the smoothness of the surface layer.

Anti-cracking paste construction technology

  1. Select the specification of the anti-crack sticker according to the width of the crack on the pavement
  2. Use electric screens and hair dryers to clean the cracks (joints) choose to use anti-crack stickers. The surface of the cracks must be flat (larger cracks must be poured with polymer sealant or filled first), without large protrusions, Dented, loose, broken oil marks, grease, and other dirt; if there are large pits, they must be filled
  3. Peel off the release paper on the back of the anti-crack sticker, with the non-adhesive side facing up, and stick the anti-crack sticker on the road evenly with the crack (connection) as the center line.
  4. In case of irregular cracks (joints), use a paper cutter or scissors to cut off the anti-crack stickers, and follow the direction of the cracks (joints) to track and paste. However, at the junction of the anti-crack stickers and anti-crack stickers, an overlap of 50-60m should be formed.
  5. Use your feet or rollers to press hard, and stick the anti-crack sticker to the ground to ensure that the anti-crack sticker is integrated with the road surface, and there should be no air bubbles or pleats.
