The pouring process is simple, the curing speed is fast, the bonding strength is high and the toughness is good after curing. Crack resistance at low temperature -30°C, strong stability at high temperature of 70°C. Good acid and alkali resistance, waterproof, oil-proof and dust-proof, heat and humidity resistance, and atmospheric aging. Has good tensile, compressive, and bonding strength.

 

The production of caulking glue strictly implements industry standards! During the production process, the SBS in the asphalt needs to be changed through three processes swelling, shearing, and development. During processing, as the temperature rises, the swelling speed is obviously accelerated, and the density of SBS swelling components is concentrated between 0.97-1.01g/cm3, which is close to the density of aromatic components. Then shear and grind for many times to achieve the purpose of uniform blending and high dispersion of asphalt and SBS. Then enter the development tank, the temperature is controlled at 170-190 ℃, During this process, a certain amount of stabilizer, anti-aging agent, wear-resistant agent, etc. are added to ensure a longer service life of the joint glue.

 

According to the land area of our country, the climate of each region, and the temperature during use, it is reasonably divided into four types.

Respectively: 0°C type, -10°C type, -20°C type, -30°C type, -40°C type. Customers can choose by themselves.

Instructions for use

  1. Base surface treatment: During construction, it is required that there is no dust and oil in the caulking;
  2. During construction, put this product into the container to heat and melt, and stir until it melts
  3. It is recommended to use talcum powder after pouring to make it solidify quickly and shorten the opening time;
  4. Melting When the temperature of this product is too high (higher than 180ºC), smoke will be generated, please do not exceed the operating temperature.

 

Calculation of the amount of caulking glue material:

According to the empirical formula accumulated by the company for many years of practical experience and theoretical research, when the polymer road sealant is at the specified construction temperature, 1kg of sealant can seal a crack that is 8m long, 1cm wide, and 1cm deep.

For example: a longitudinal crack with a width and depth of 2cm is 15m long, and the amount of sealant is: 2×2×15×0.12=7.2kg

 

Instructions for the use of caulking glue:

  1. Heated caulking glue

In the heating chamber of the hot-melt kettle, heat and melt the sealant until it reaches the specified construction temperature of 193°C.

Note: In the process of heating the sealant, it must be ensured that it is heated evenly. It is recommended to use heating equipment with heat transfer oil or hot air as the medium to avoid the phenomenon of sealant burning. Therefore, when there is no equipment such as a hot melt kettle that can ensure that the material is evenly heated, a frying pan for heating asphalt or other direct heating equipment with an open flame cannot be used to heat the sealant.

In order to ensure construction safety, traffic control should be carried out first. In accordance with the regulations on road maintenance traffic control in the “Technical Specifications for Highway Maintenance”, cone-shaped signs and moving sign vehicles should be placed, and special personnel should be assigned to direct traffic and follow the construction progress. Move construction signs in time.

  1. Grooving:

According to the designed notch size, adjust the width and depth of the slotting machine and then carry out the slotting operation. During the construction process, the notch size should be adjusted in time according to the fission change and meet the minimum design requirements.

  1. Seam cleaning:

Use a compressed air gun or a forest fire extinguisher to clean up the dust and debris in the tank and at least 5cm on both sides.

  1. Preheating:

The joint glue should be used when the road surface temperature exceeds 4°C. Use at low temperature may reduce the viscosity, because there is too much moisture in the crack, if it is lower than 4°C, you can use an appropriate method to heat it to ensure that the minimum required limit is reached. If it is required to seal at temperatures below 4°C, it must be ensured that the cracks are dry and free from water and debris. The temperature of the sealant should be kept at a safe heating temperature, and the sealant should be inspected by a professional to ensure its viscosity.

  1. Filling seam:

Under the condition that the caulking glue reaches 193°C, use a pressure nozzle with a leveler on the caulking terminal to evenly pour the sealant into the groove.

  1. Maintenance:

After the joints are filled with joint glue, the traffic cannot be opened immediately, and the traffic must be opened after the sealant is fully cooled. The general cooling time is about 15 minutes, and it can be flexibly controlled according to the temperature situation during specific implementation.

 

★ Construction advantages ★

Please follow the correct construction process during construction. Its advantages lie in:

  1. Grooving can completely remove the sundries in the asphalt pavement so that the next step of pouring joints has a flat joint surface;
  2. The high-pressure dust blower can quickly and thoroughly clean up the residual debris after slotting, speed up the work process, and effectively clean the road surface to ensure that the road surface hygiene requirements are met during the construction process;
  3. The hot air spray gun can work synchronously with the joint filling hose to improve the thermal contact efficiency in the construction process, enhance the bonding strength between the material and the joint wall, and the timeliness of construction;
  4. The seam-filling process is particularly important. In addition, the pavement crack-filling machine with a square feeding port design can be used, and the extension force is added on both sides, so that the joint filling effect is beautiful and tidy, and the waterproof, sand-proof, and high-adhesion effects are fully completed. During the construction of grouting, the poured material is parallel to and slightly higher than the road surface 1-2mm to close the cracks, so that the grouting joints have a certain expansion and contraction space with temperature changes, and can also avoid the occurrence of car jumping.
