1. Product Introduction

Anti-cracking paste is a kind of composite polymer material between the stress-absorbing layers of asphalt pavement, which can effectively absorb stress and block moisture. It is a strip-shaped, self-adhesive interlayer anti-cracking and waterproof material that is made of asphalt-based polymers, tire bases, high-strength and high-temperature resistant fabrics, and isolation membranes through precise extrusion and compounding of special machinery and equipment in the factory.

 

2. Mechanism of action

1. Reinforcing effect

The high-strength and high-temperature-resistant fabric on the surface of the anti-cracking paste has a large tensile strength, which can effectively resist the tensile stress at the cracks between layers, limit the development of the crack width, play the role of reinforcement, and improve the tensile strength of the local structural layer of the asphalt pavement strength.

2. Energy dissipation and buffering effect

The polymer in the anti-cracking sticker is a material with certain viscoelasticity and good low-temperature flexibility. When it is laid between asphalt pavement layers, the tensile stress at the crack will expand and gradually decay to a wider range through the expansion of the good viscoelastic composite layer. , can play the role of absorbing stretching energy.

3. Water-proof and anti-seepage effect

The anti-crack sticker is laid on the surface of the interlayer cracks to form a complete water-proof and anti-seepage layer, which blocks the seepage path of rain and snow water, thereby reducing water damage to the road surface.

4. Self-adhesive performance

The product is self-adhesive, and the construction is very convenient. After the isolation film is removed, it will be directly bonded to the crack, and it will be more firmly bonded to the road surface without shifting.

4. Requirements for use

1. Surface treatment

(1) Dust, water, and other debris on the adhered surface must be removed to keep the road surface dry and clean.

(2) Cracks with a width of 5-19mm must be cleaned and filled with sealant.

(3) Cracks and subsidence areas with a width of 19-50mm must be cleaned up, filled with mortar, sealant, or asphalt mixture, and compacted to the existing height.

(4) Cracks or pits with a width of more than 50mm must be cleaned up first, then filled with mortar or hot asphalt mixture and compacted to the existing height.

(5) For cracks and subsidence areas with different heights, leveling must be carried out.

(6) The protrusions on the bridge deck and road surface must be cleaned or treated until they are smooth.

2. Environmental conditions

(1) It should be used under the condition that the surface temperature is not less than 10°C.

(2) If overlapping occurs during the laying process, the overlapping length is 50mm. There cannot be more than two layers of overlap.

(3) It is recommended to roll 2-3 times with a rubber roller after laying the polymer anti-crack sticker.

(4) Vehicles can pass after the paving is completed, but the interval between laying on the upper layer should not exceed 24 hours.

3. Asphalt overlay

(1) After the anti-cracking sticker is laid correctly, it should be closely combined with the construction of the upper layer to avoid moisture and rain.

(2) After laying the anti-cracking stickers, according to the construction specifications of the hot asphalt mixture, spread emulsified asphalt and other viscous layer oil. In order to prevent vehicles or pavers from sticking to the anti-cracking stickers, sprinkle some fine grains on the cracking-resistant stickers gravel or mix.

(3) The thickness of the hot asphalt mixture laid on the anti-crack sticker should be greater than 30mm.
