4. Grassroots requirements and handling
4.1. The waterproof base should be plastered with 1:3 cement mortar to a flooding slope of 1/50 according to the design requirements. The surface should be smoothed and calendered, and defects such as unevenness, looseness, sanding, and dusting are not allowed. The drain or floor drain should be lower than the entire waterproof layer so as to remove stagnant water. The part of the pipeline with casing should be more than 20MM above the surface of the base. If oil stains, rust, etc. are found, they should be thoroughly removed with wire brushes, sandpaper, and organic solvents.
